Our Actions
NAC rents a storage space in the Boulder area. We deliver a 24 ft. truck to the reservations packed with material goods, clothing, furniture, toys, food stuffs and medical/dental supplies as often as possible.
Holiday presentations include gift packages with a meal. Winter coat and clothing drives are essential. Weather conditions are extremely harsh: temperatures of 50 degrees below zero and minus 80 degree wind chills are not uncommon. School children without appropriate winter clothing face severe circumstances, including the possibility of being sent home for not adhering to winter dress codes. This would deprive the children not only of an education, but also federally subsidized breakfast and lunch programs.
Health professionals occasionally provide medical and dental services through our organization along with eye glasses and other needed supplies. We collect and distribute school supplies at the beginning of each year as donations allow. During the summer months, when weather permits, we provide assistance with home repair and maintenance.
